Pilates for Dancers Beginners DVD Review


I have always been in pretty good shape until the last few years, so I've been looking for ways to get back into shape. I have always heard good things about doing Pilates. When I got the opportunity to try the Pilates for Dancers Beginners DVD, I was pretty excited. This looked like something that I would be able to do and get the results I wanted.

Pilates for Dancers is for beginners, which is what I need since I am new to it! The video starts with a great warm up and stretching routine to get you limbered up and ready, followed by over 20 broken down, step-by-step routines that are pretty easy to follow and are great for people who have never done them before. I must admit that it was a little hard for me to do the first week, since I am so out of shape. It's definitely getting easier now for me to do the routines and I feel great!

Since the video is for beginners it gives a good amount of time for explanation so you get the most out of your workout. The workout is pretty intense, but it's low impact so I think that it's easier than a lot of other workouts. I'm really enjoying using this DVD for my workouts and think it is great for beginners or people who are looking for a low impact workout!
